To fund your PhD with a China Scholarship Council (CSC) award, the first step is an offer from a partner university. All 15 programmes on this page can be combined with a CSC application, at King's College London, the University of Manchester, Durham University, the University of Glasgow, the University of Leeds, the University of Southampton, Monash University in Australia and others.
Each university's CSC arrangement and application window are a little different, and each detail page sets them out. What they share: your PhD offer has to come before the CSC application, so the earlier you start, the more options you have.
For every programme we work with, you meet your prospective supervisor first and then apply formally, which makes the offer timeline more predictable — useful when you are working towards a CSC deadline.
Leave your major, grades and planned start date — we'll tell you which programmes can make the next CSC round.
