Biomedical research spans engineering and science: neuroimaging and computational neuroscience, biomedical and tissue engineering, cell and molecular biology, immunology, ophthalmology and sports biomechanics are all on this page. The 24 open programmes here are at Cornell University, University of Southern California, Binghamton University, New Jersey Institute of Technology, NYU Shanghai, City University of New York (CUNY) and other universities; 16 accept applicants straight from a bachelor's degree; 4 state full funding.
Applicants come from biology, medicine, engineering, physics and computer science. Supervisors most want to see the experiments or data analysis you have done, and a research question you can explain clearly.
For many of the programmes we work with, you can interview with a prospective supervisor before the formal application. Tell us your major, grades and lab experience, and we will check which programmes fit.
