Research Focus
Under the Ph.D. in Neurology at the University of New York, Shanghai, the neurosystem and brain function orientation is focused on the information-processing and control mechanisms of the nervous system at the molecular, cell, neural circuit and system levels, covering the key frontier areas of cytological and molecular neuroscience, system and computational neuroscience, cognitive and behavioural neurology, and neuroimage and nervous technology. The project emphasizes interdisciplinary research methods that combine experimental neuroscience, quantitative analysis, computational modelling and data science, and explores in depth the mechanisms of neurons irritation and synaptic plasticity, neuropathodynamics, brain network coding and regulation and how they are achieved in complex behaviour and cognitive functions.
The research focuses on neurons and synapses, neuropaths of the sensory and motor system, neuromechanical mechanisms for learning and memory, the basics of the brain network for decision-making and emotional management, neurodevelopment and plasticity, the basic mechanisms of neuroactivity and mental disorders, optical genetics and multimodular neuroimaging, large-scale neurodata analysis and machine learning models. Through a combination of theoretical analysis, numerical simulation, high-precision electron physiology and optical imaging platforms and behavioural experiments, the project aims to promote the systematic development of innovation from basic brain science to neurotechnology and computational models.
The project places a high priority on multidisciplinary cross-cutting, integrating neuroscience with biology, psychology, computing, engineering and artificial intelligence methods, and providing a systematic scientific support for future brain science research, neurotechnological innovation and brain intelligence development.

Programme Structure and Funding
The project is a full-time Ph.D. project: a full-time undergraduate scholarship to the New York University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences and the New York University Centre for Neurological Sciences for a joint 5 study year: New York, United States and Shanghai, China, Autumn, New York, and the previous year, 12 1, closed the application for a special admission statement: students will study at New York University for one and a half years, then join the Shanghai Laboratory for dissertation studies and continue coursework. Scholarships: Dr. GSAS Scholarship Scheme, also known as Henry Mitchell MacCracken, Professor of Philosophy MacCracken was the sixth Rector of New York University. The scholarship scheme provides full funding for GSAS Ph.D. students for 4-5 years, including full tuition, registration, service fees and health insurance. Additional salaries are paid for scientific or teaching assistants.
