Research Focus

The Ph.D. in Biosciences and Biomedicine Engineering project focuses on key directions such as molecular and cellular mechanisms of life systems, biomaterial and tissue engineering, biomechanical and medical imaging, precision medicine and disease intervention, neuroscience and brain health engineering, and biomedical data science. The project emphasizes in-depth exploration of the principles and applications of biological process patterns, major disease mechanisms and intelligent diagnostic techniques, using an interdisciplinary approach combining experimental biology, engineering, artificial intelligence and computational modelling. The research focuses on AI-driven disease prediction and individualized treatment, smart medical image analysis, cytological behaviour and tissue regeneration simulation, optimization of biological materials and interfaces, advanced sensory and detection systems, and health data modelling and decision-making support, and works to promote full-chain innovation from basic scientific discovery to the transformation of smart medical technologies. The project focuses on multidisciplinary cross-cutting, providing systematic scientific support for biomedical technology development, the construction of smart health systems and future innovations in precision medical models by integrating life sciences, engineering sciences, information science and artificial intelligence technologies.
